TONY KNIGHT - biography
Hampshire born photographer, journalist and broadcaster
Tony Knight is a passionate communicator both sound and
visual. He enjoys meeting and working with people from all walks
of life, sharing his interests through broadcasting and photography.
He is an experienced photojournalist and travel writer, his
work has been published around the world.
Tony
was a regular contributor to the Classic Travel Guide on Classic
fm reporting from Europe and the Far East; appearances on
BBC Radio 4s The Afternoon Shift from Thailand and Dubrovnik
undergoing reconstruction after the 1992 war. He can count Lord
Denning and Baroness Thatcher among his many interviewees.
He has also appeared on both BBC and commercial
local radio and is a founder member of Winchester
Hospital Radio, which he has, and continues to served since
1984 as Station Manager, Vice-Chairman and now, Chairman.
Tony travels extensively, typified by the interaction with the
people he meets, and with life around the world. His last visit
to Thailand, produced some 6,000 stunning images about this
fascinating Kingdom. Over four weeks he visited Bangkok, Issan
and the more remote north region close to the Burmese border.
Tony is regularly commissioned by Hampshire
Life magazine as its Society and Events photographer, contributing
to other Archant
